Acquisition Terminal Unit (ATU):

Function
The
Acquisition
Terminal Unit (ATU) is to connect
with electricity, water or gas meter through RS485
hardwire network and to collect/store the metering data
and status. At the upper-tier of the communication is a
Data
Concentration Unit
(DCU) that repeatedly polls all ATU in sequence to
obtain new data/status either by Power Line
Carrier (PLC) or Hardwire bus
(M-bus).

To collect the
meter reading data from the meter with RS485 interface.
