Function
The
Meter Interface Unit (MIU) is to connect
with electricity, water or gas meter through RS485
hardwire network and to collect/store the metering data
and status. At the upper-tier of the communication is a
Data
Concentration Unit (DCU) that
repeatedly polls all MIU in sequence to obtain new
data/status either by Power Line Carrier
(PLC) or Hardwire bus (M-bus).

To collect the
meter reading data from the meter with RS485 interface.

Function
The
Meter Interface Unit (MIU) is to connect
with electricity, water or gas meter through pulse
output and to collect/store the metering data and
status. At the upper-tier of the communication is a
Data
Concentration Unit (DCU) that
repeatedly polls all ATU in sequence to obtain new
data/status either by Power Line Carrier
(PLC) or Hardwire bus (M-bus).

Operating Principles
The capturing
of meter reading can be divided into two ways:
To capture the
consumption proportional pulses from the pulsing meters
such as electronic electricity
、water
and gas meters.
To detect the
disc revolutions of the electricity electromechanical
energy meter by using optical sensor heads.
